It has been approximately 1 month since there were any new posts. Tomorrow, we would have still celebrated Children's Day if we weren't in secondary school now. But even if we were to celebrate it, would we still be happy? The End-of-Year Examinations are just 5 days away!

So down here will be the timetable for the exams so plan your time wisely! Hari Raya for this year might be the most boring because of the 10% increase in homeworks during the fasting month and also during the Hari Raya weekends.

hey bloggers.

so I have heard that some of you think this blog is dead . I am not naming names ( Ashley ) and no , it is not dead as I am trying to keep it alive.

so this post is valid until november? anyways, today is friday 28th August. So tommorow , Muslims will reach the 1 - week mark of fasting . good for us! So we are 1 step closer to Hari Raya :]

So onto school-related matters,
travel forms to be submitted by 4 th of September ( i think ). this is compulsory.
there will be 2 tests on Thursday, 3rd September ( again, I think ). It is Geography and Science. Check the whiteboard. xD.

Project work reports to be submitted by next week Friday. If possible, show Mr Poon the game.

Aces day is on Teacher's Day celebration which is on a Monday. So PE attire should be worn. First period on that day ( 8 to 9am ) will be normal lessons. from 9 am to 9.30 am will be special time with Mr Phoa !! And at 9.30 am to 10 is Aces day. The rest of the time should be celebration concert and by 12 noon, school is over!

note : Tuesday no school :]

Here's a more specific recap of the June holiday assignments:

ENGLISH LANGUAGE
- Remember to do Workbook pages 17,34,35,61,64,66,69&70.

MATHS
- Remember to do the worksheet that Mr Phoa had given out during EL.

GEOGRAPHY
-Do the worksheet on foolscap and not on the paper itself.

LITERATURE
- Unit 5 : In The Middle of The Night ( pg 53)
- Unit 9 : Hate Poem (pg 104)
- Unit 17 : Kenneth Who Was Too Fond Of Bubble-gum and Met an Untimely End (pg 138)
- Unit 18 : Jack and the Beanstalk (pg 146)

Objective is to block all these stories. Whenever a setting changes, move on to a new block. Remember to find its difficulties and resolutions to all of it. Another thing to do is to complete the exercises behind of the passages by yourselves. Do all if you Kiasu/kiasi.

SCIENCE
- Do the worksheets provided.
- Submit a Word Document to Miss Mak via. the Submission Tray in DMSS COMMONTOWN about what has been written down in your Science log book. After that, remember to remind your wiki experts to make up the websites and do all the informations into it. Remember to upload pictures, tables, graphs etc. into it to make it attractive for others to view.
For Wikis:
> Write a report in Wiki website that was given to you.
(a) Introduction (Includes Aim)
(b) Procedure
(c) Observations & Results
> includes tables and graphs using Microsoft Excel or other applications.

HOMEWORK

1. Maths Workbook Chapter 5 Q7, Q8, Q19. Do all the questions under those numbers. Do it after you had finished the Ex 5.5(pg 107) Q 1 (b),(e),(i),(j) by dividing the page into half or by just simply writing Wk - Chapter 5 (Algebraic Manipulation).

2. History Workbook pg 110 Q 1 & 2 only, pg 78 & 79 Q (b), (c) & (d) only.

REMINDER

Tomorrow is SPORTS DAY (2 Apr). Please be at the Tampines Stadium by 7.30 a.m. sharp in your P.E attire or half-uniform. Please be in your house coloured shirt! Please do not go to school as per usual and go straight to the stadium.
You can go to the stadium by taking the MRT train to Tampines and just walk to the bus interchange and you will be able to see two office buildings separated by a road, Tampines Central. Just walk straight, cross the road and you will reach the stadium in no time. The sports day will end at around 12.30 p.m. and you will be dismissed from there. Bring along some money to buy some foods and drinks and you will be helping the needy pupils.
The foods sold there are sandwiches, hot dogs and curry puffs. The drinks that are available are mineral waters, ice-lemon teas and 100 PLUS. If you don't want to, then fine...

There's nothing that is needed to be passed up tomorrow except for those who had not completed the Science Practical Book pg 65-68. Please answer all the questions.

Also take note that there will be a Maths Supplementary during the March Holidays on the 16th of March from 9.00 am to 11.00 am. You are to come in your school clothes, be it P.E or school uniform.
